Cool! I like this close up composition with the figure filling the page at an interesting angle. Your proportions and foreshortening look good. You did a really good job of capturing the feel and character of the man. You have a good range of values here with plenty of contrast. It's a very good piece of work!
Your recreation of this classic scene is pretty good, but (this is my opinion) the work is over-developed. Your contrasts between light and dark is good but sometimes too much rendering and too much detail tends to over-develope the image and make it appear too busy. As I try to look at the work as a whole my eye is drwan away from the whole and is forced, not allowed but forced to examine the details though out the body and that tends to depriciate the images overall effect. Now some might see this as bashing a good piece of work, but I see it as constructive critisim that may be helpful in future works, so on a final note you have good composition, and your contrasts between shades are good and your techinique is good, but the work has too much detail.
